Derrick Rhodes is a lifelong resident of Chicago, Illinois. His passion for real estate stems from his love of the Chicagoland area, combined with “all things sports and food.” Derrick’s interests in international travel also merge well with Chicagoland’s diverse history, traditions, and cultures.

Derrick uses his skill set as a classroom teacher to communicate with his clients on a level that is comfortable and informative. He is aware that time is important to all, but patience gets the job done. While showing a property, he takes time to point out the pros and cons of the property and highlights local attractions, schools, and restaurants. It is important that Derrick’s clients feel that their concerns and interests are heard, and he works diligently to find the best property that satisfies their needs.

Derrick has extensive experience in real estate, with over $2M in investment properties sold. He specializes in auction property transactions, guiding clients through the complexities of purchasing auction properties and helping them maximize their investments. His expertise in these areas provides clients with a competitive edge in the market.

Derrick has a career background in education. He is a past national vice-president of MANRRS and has worked hard to expose students and adults to diverse opportunities. Over the past decade, he has served on several Chicago Public School committees and has led volunteer efforts benefiting multiple schools and their surrounding communities. Derrick is also an active member of his local community organizations and supports residential/commercial improvements and community-safety initiatives.
