For Mike Murdock, real estate has always been about more than property–it's about people, relationships, service, and community.
Originally from Cedar Hill, Texas, Mike and his family made East Texas home in 1996, settling in Canton. For more than 30 years, he has watched Canton, Van Zandt County, and the surrounding East Texas communities grow while maintaining the small-town character that makes this area such a special place to live.
Mike's real estate foundation began long before he became a REALTOR®. Growing up around commercial and residential construction and becoming a custom home builder at a young age gave him firsthand knowledge of homes, construction, land, and property. That experience naturally led to a career in real estate and ultimately to becoming a Real Estate Broker.
Today, as Managing Broker of EXIT Realty Pro and M-Squared Management, Mike combines decades of real estate experience, construction knowledge, and a Bachelor of Business Administration to lead and mentor 45+ real estate professionals while continuing to serve buyers, sellers, investors, property owners, and clients throughout East Texas.
A Career Built on Service
Service has been a constant throughout Mike's life.
For 32 years, he proudly served with the Dallas Fire Department as a Firefighter-Paramedic, serving the citizens of Dallas from 1984 until his retirement in 2016. That same commitment to helping others continues to shape the way he approaches real estate, leadership, property management, and his community today.
