I’m April. Most people who find me are trying to figure out whether a move to Florida makes sense for their life — and feeling a little overwhelmed by what that actually involves. 

I’ve helped a lot of people make that transition, and it’s rarely just about the house. It’s about timing, finances, weather, family, and whether life might feel a little easier under the sun.

I’m based in North Port, and I work with people in two ways. Through Plan My Florida Move, I help buyers and sellers navigate the relocation process step by step. And through Hello Home Concierge Services, I help absentee homeowners and snowbirds care for their Florida homes when they’re not here — keeping an eye on things, coordinating services, and making sure the home stays in good shape between visits.

I also support owners of short-term rental homes who need someone local to check on the property between guests, handle small issues, or help keep things running smoothly between cleanings or tenants. It’s hands-on help and local oversight — not property management — just practical support when you need someone nearby.

Many of the homeowners I work with already love Florida, but they aren’t here year-round. Having someone local they trust makes a big difference — whether that means checking on the home, coordinating services, or eventually helping them decide when it might be time to sell.
